This is how we made our introduction to Pronouns - we started with Personal Pronouns. I put together a lesson from Montessori for Everyone...I absolutely love how she created her Grammar Introductory lessons. I also read about the Pronoun material in The Advanced Montessori Method - Maria Montessori here. Then my Manual From Montessori Research & Development. There are variations in presenting this material, and it can be adapted to suit your child's needs, and reading level (or you could read it to the child). These are the things I chose to do, that worked well for us:)) As we revisit Pronouns I will introduce others activities.
I love these sentences and customized them for Xander using his name (and his sister's), and things he was interested in:)) He simply read through all the sentences, and then we had a chat about how they sounded. We then took a look at the definition and symbol. He read through again and inserted the pronouns:))
Recording a couple sentences - with the Pronouns symbol in his language journal:))
